Chinese 牛 Year 2009
This year was a rather tight-scheduled year... We visited like 1 additional relative this year...
Apart from that, my Aunt revealed a heart-warming family history to us...
The additional relative that we visited was actually my 3rd Grand-Aunt (Grandma's 3rd younger sister).
They are actually the only 2 biological sisters in the family. Our eldest Grand-aunt has passed away, which leaves the 2 of them. The story is that our Great-Grandfather was actually from a wealthy family....
He had 2 wives,1st Grand-aunt, Grandma and 3rd Grand-aunt were the children of the first wife, the 2nd wife had 10 children, the rest of our Grand-aunts and Grand-uncles. When they were very young, Grandma actually looked after the 10 children as though they were biological sibilings even though they were only step-siblings... Until today.. all the younger Grand-aunts and Grand-uncles still look up to Grandma as a respected elder in the family...

Christmas 08
Ho Ho Ho....Firstly... Merry Christmas to all!
It was kinda sad to work on both Christmas Eve and on the actual day. Then again, other than the day being a festive day itself, it was just like any other odinary day.
After work, 24th ended great as we celebrated over a nice Christmas dinner prepared by SiChun's mum. It was a great dinner! Special thanks to SiChun and his Mum ;)
The "celebration" started with Chicken Chop, then it was toasting with red wine.
The best show of the day was the mahjong session! =D
25th was a sad day as 2 good friends cum colleagues left us to further their studies.
Well, all good things will come to an end, 天下无不散之宴席, Wishing all the best to them. =)
Lastly, many thanks for the presents for Christmas from everyone. =)

KTV anyone?
Looking at the date today... 19 November 2008.
A few comments...
Christmas is round the corner.
Thank goodness for KFC to be re-opened =D
Its proven, the more education one has, the greater the damage is to the poor grey matter
Christmas deco has been put up in TM. Hope everyone else is getting into the Christmas spirit of giving =) I really miss the times when we were little children running around in Toys-R-Us, comparing the presents that we are getting. Not to mention, the little parties that our aunties will hold!
Keeping that in mind anyone interested in having a X'mas celebration of any kind?
As for KFC, it was closed for renovation apparently and is finally back in action! Time for a zinger. It seems that the range of food available in Tampines Central is being restricted to fast food, and expensive "food-court" food. Anyway, KFC's re-opening means that there is 1 more available choice in the "What-to-eat" menu.
Last but not least, the main grievance for today is to explain the way things work to a man from China, who strongly believes that we are out there to cheat. =.=
Here's the summary:
Qn: Why is the contract being extended
Ans: There were suspension during the duration of the active contract period, therefore it led to the extension
Dispute: Someone tampered with the system and tagged the services to another account and the apparent extension is due to the other 3rd party's contract as such.
For goodness sake, is there a need for someone to do such a thing? And yes, he claims he is a Masters Degree holder and he is reasonable....... -.-
took me 1 damn hour to finish every typing little detail of our conversation into the log....
the other disputes are even more ridiculous......
LAST but not least,
anyone wants to have a K session? lol.... so much for the title....
